Oops! I realized I messed up! The images for day 117 and 118 were actually shot the same day. Curses! I will have to go back and fix it, forgive the confusion. It gets hard to keep up with sometimes since I don't post on the same days I shoot.

The first Mother's Day, that is.
You know, I had never really given Mother's Day all that much thought until it was getting close. Once it started to approach, I felt excited. Not because I expected, or desired, to get something, but because it just reminded me of my new role. I have been inducted to the Mommy club, and it's a membership that can never be revoked.
I really had a fantastic Mother's Day, thanks to my wonderful husband Brian. He planned the whole thing for me and I couldn't have asked for more. My Mother's day pampering actually started on Saturday with a much needed haircut. I hadn't had one since early December, and it had been a pretty lousy one. But this haircut was fabulous! Then on Sunday morning, we met up with Brian's family for a Mother's Day brunch. After eating, I headed out for more pampering, starting with getting my eyebrows (my caterpillars) threaded.
My apologies to all eight (including my husband) of the regular readers here.. The last day or two have had a serious lack of time and energy in regards to blogging. I will be writing soon - about my wonderful first Mother's Day and my review of our new cloth diapers! So stay tuned.. for now I'll get some cute photos of Zaida-bean up!

It's 5:30 PM and I've just put Zaida down for the fourth or fifth time to take a nap. We are both over tired, however, her mood seems to be standing up to it better than mine. I admit I have not started reading The No-Cry Sleep Solution...or I should say, I just now picked it up to begin. It starts off asking you a few questions, to all of which I responded with a resounding yes! Perhaps this will be the solution that we have been looking for.
Why didn't I pick it up a day or two ago? Because, of course, Zaida started getting a little better. Yesterday she took two, count 'em, two two hour naps. I was amazed. But then we come to today and it's almost a no-nap kind of day. Up and down, up and down. But I am now fully motivated to prop my eyes open and get through this book. I am eager to learn the secrets.
I had more I wanted to blabber on about but I'm far too tired at this point, so perhaps another day.
